Arrival & Preparation: Arrive at Gunung Kawi Tampaksiring car park. Purchase your entrance ticket and rent a sarong if needed.

The Descent: Begin the scenic walk down hundreds of stone steps, marveling at the surrounding rice terraces and lush jungle views. This descent takes about 15-20 minutes.

Explore the Main Candi: Reach the bottom of the valley and explore the primary group of five large rock-cut candi on the eastern side of the Pakerisan River. Take your time to admire their grandeur and intricate details.

Cross the River: Cross the bridge over the Pakerisan River to the western side, where you'll find another group of four smaller candi.

Discovery of the Tenth Candi: Follow the path further north from the main complex to discover the secluded tenth candi, nestled in a quieter part of the valley.
